DeThink

Design Thinking for Entrepreneurial Education

DeThink provides training for secondary school teachers in the field of design thinking for innovative entrepreneurial education. Existing training materials in the area of entrepreneurship focus on plans and outputs and do not meet the needs of students. A design thinking approach focuses on building empathy, discovering problems and experimenting with many ideas to solve those problems. It is research-led and proven to foster an entrepreneurial attitude by promoting engaging, effective learning experiences and allowing students to experiment and practice. While design thinking has gained momentum for product design in industry it has received little attention in schools. DeThink addresses this gap.
